Promethazine (dyprazyn)

It can also be used for other conditions determined by your doctor. Promethazine is not used for asthma. It can also be used to help make light sleep, and for the prevention of motion sickness. Promethazine for the relief of allergy symptoms, including hives and nasal congestion. It is used to prevent and combat pain and nausea during and after surgery.

• If you have allergies to medicines, foods or other substances

• If you frequently eat large amounts of alcohol

• You are allergic to any ingredient, promethazine
• Do you have severe central nervous system depression or coma

• ACE inhibitors (eg, enalapril), haloperidol, lithium, meperidin, metrizamide, monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAO) (eg fenelzin), naltrexone, polypeptide antibiotics (such as actinomycin), or trazodon because They may increase the risk of side effects of promethazine
• Bromokryptyn, epinephrine, levodopa, or perholyd because their effectiveness may be reduced to promethazine
