Lithium carbonate
Lithium carbonate is used to treat manic episodes of manic depression, a condition in which people deviate from the spirit of depression over excited. Manic episode may include some or all of the following symptoms:
- Aggression;
- Spirits;
- Emergency speak;
- Boisterousness physical activity;
- Grandiose, unrealistic;
- Hostility;
- Less need for sleep;
- Brief comments.
Use of lithium carbonate in accordance with the doctor's instructions. To minimize the risk of dangerous side effects, follow a balanced diet, including salt and plenty of fluids. If you have been a lot of sweating or diarrhea, make sure you get extra liquids and salt.
- To prevent upset stomach, take immediate lithium carbonate or milk after meals or with food.

If you miss a dose of lithium carbonate, and a negative to it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missing dose and return to your normal dose of the list. Do not take 2 doses once.
