Imigran (sumatryptan)

  Imigran may cause rare but serious side effects on the heart, including heart attack or stroke. Do not use this treatment, let your doctor if you are raising a child. In the use of sumatryptanu, please tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. In the use of Imigran, tell your doctor if you are:
  • Epilepsy or other diseases;
  • Hypertension;
  • Liver disease;
  • Kidney disease or
  • Coronary heart disease (or risk factors, including diabetes, menopause, smoking, overweight, have high blood pressure or high cholesterol, have a family history of coronary heart disease by over 40 people, or as a woman it is hysterectomy.)
  U.S. FDA pregnancy category C is not known whether these drugs harmful to the fetus.
  
  Imigran can enter breast milk and may harm the baby. This medicine should not be given under 18 years of age or over 65 years.
