Avandia (rosiglitazone)

It can be used alone or with other anti-diabetic drugs. This is used with diet and exercise. Avandia is used to treat type 2 diabetes in some patients.

Continue taking Avandia, even if you feel good.
Avandia mouth with or without food. Avandia with your doctor for instructions. Check the dosage on the label instructions exactly. Do not miss any doses.

Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following:

• Insulin or nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) because the risk of heart problems may increase
• Gemfibrozil or oral hypoglycemic drugs (such as hlipizyd), because of low blood sugar may increase the risk of
• Rifampin because it may reduce the effectiveness of Avandia, "elevated blood sugar
• Anticoagulants (eg warfarin) because its effect may be reduced or their side effects may increase the risk of Avandia

• You are in any component over Min Diya
• With moderate to severe heart failure
• Do you have type 1 diabetes
• Do you have a history of liver problems, including jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes) during treatment with a similar medicine called trohlitazon
• You are taking nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) or using insulin

• If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding
• If you have any instructions or sale of drugs, traditional Chinese medicine preparation, or dietary addition
• If you have allergies to medicines, foods or other substances
• If you have diabetic ketoacidosis (a serious problem with diabetes)
• If you have a history of liver problems, poor liver function, heart problems (such as congestive heart failure), or eye or vision problems
• If you have questions swelling (edema)
