For women: use of this drug during pregnancy lead to fetal and neonatal deaths.
Before you begin taking any new medication or instructions or more of the counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Check blood sugar levels closely and ask your doctor before adjusting your diabetes medication dose.
Laboratory and / or medical tests, including liver, kidney, blood pressure, blood and blood electrolytes may be monitoring your progress or check side effects.
Do not use a salt substitute or other potassium supplement without coordination with your doctor. If you experience difficulty breathing, chest tightness, swelling of eyelids, face, lips, or if you develop a rash or hives, tell your doctor immediately.

If you have diabetes, this medicine may affect blood sugar levels. Avoid exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light, or tanning booths until you know how you respond to this drug. Prevent infection, avoid contact with people with common cold or other infection. If there is dizziness, sit up or stand slowly.
Drink plenty of fluids during exercise or other activities, including excessive sweating may occur.
